Bird Watchers’ Field Club Second Sunday Outing at Lalbagh 9 June,2013

Today was more of a writing day to me than clicking. We tend to observe more when we sketch and write. But if we have a camera we just focus and click a button , no observation usually.

The mottled wood owl was the star of the day. It was super huge. We saw two of them. Could not resist clicking a picture

I found today that the new leaves of a bottle brush tree are pink!!

When we went to the lake area we saw cormorants, egrets and white breasted and common kingfisher

There was even a turtle lying on the rock.

There was a guy there who came from somewhere and entered the bush near the lake. He disturbed the birds and Every bird flew away. We humans will never learn to appreciate something without disturbing it.
